The Web is the common name for the World Wide Web, a subset of the Internet consisting of pages that can be accessed by a Web browser. Many people assume that the Web is the same as the Internet, and use these terms interchangeably. However, the term Internet refers to the global network of servers that makes the information sharing that happens over the Web possible. So, although the Web does make up a large portion of the Internet, they are not the same.

Web Page :

A webpage is a part of a website; it means a website contains different web pages. Such as hashnode.com is a website, and the page currently you are accessing is the webpage. It can be understood as an example of a book. So, a Website is like a complete book, and a webpage is like a page of that book.

Website :

In simple terms, a website is a collection of web pages. The ‘webpages’ are online pages that we can view by using the internet and web service on a computer or smartphone.

Web Server :

A web server is a computer system capable of delivering web content to end users over the internet via a web browser.

A website’s content is stored and delivered with the help of a web server. All images, texts, videos, application data, and anything else that is needed by the user, is delivered with the help of a web server. Whenever a user clicks on a link or starts a download, the web server calls for the data from the website. To help you better understand it, let us take a look at the definition of a web server.

HTML :

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is a text-based approach to describing how content contained within an HTML file is structured. This markup tells a web browser how to display text, images and other forms of multimedia on a webpage.

Hypertext: text (often with embeds such as images, too) that is organized to connect related items

Markup: a style guide for typesetting anything to be printed in hardcopy or softcopy format

Language: a language that a computer system understands and uses to interpret commands.

HTML TAGS :

Since HTML defines the markup for a particular web page, you'll want the text, images, or other embeds to appear in certain ways.

For example, you might want some text to be big, other text to be small, and some to be in bold, italic, or bullet point form.

HTML has "tags" that let you get this done. So, there are tags to create headings, paragraphs, bolded words, italicized words, and more.

The image below describes the anatomy of an HTML tag:
